Student Trumpet that delivers
I work for the band and orchestra division of a national music retailer and this is our student model horn of choice as well as that of most music directors in the area...AVOID anything made is CHINA...JEAN BAPTISTE, and anything with a colored tint or spray to it...they sound like crap...and... -

Well, about a year ago, i switched from a Yamaha YTR-2335 trumpet to a Bach TR300 trumpet Serial # E69243 due to the Yamaha's valves always being so sticky. Well, the sticky valves are gone but now I have another problem.
It could be the mouthpiece however because the moupiece is fairly deep, if anything it would flatten the intonation. I think unfortuantly it could be the horn. This doesnt seem right even for a simple Bach model, they are usually o.k.

Well, you have one of the best student model trumpets you could have for your child. Why not just buy one of those? There are others..... the King603 is good. The Bach 200. Conn has the director model and I think Getzen has a beginner
