It would help the tone of your ukulele to get some good quality strings (such as Worth or Aquila).
But I think the biggest thing you could do to get the Hawaiian sound is to practice.

For the money, you are getting a decent, very pretty ukulele - you would have to dig deeper into your cash to get something better standard.
That said, i am not saying it is SUPER standard uke - its a low end uke, and I have read that a few of them have some setup

If this ukulele for about a month. It 'been strong, easy to friction, good intonation, and it's nice to see. It 'also came with strings Nylgut Aquila, which was a pleasant surprise. These are the best strings in the company and it's nice to see that attention to detail. Ukulele content, I recommend it to anyone who wants to expand its collection, or start to learn this great tool.
This tool is a real head Turner, but the sound is cheap. I accept the examiner only negative Garibaldi. I bought the LU-21 Soprano Ukulele LanaK, which is much more expensive than this instrument, but the sound is much stronger, warm and crispy. The sound of this Uke Oscar Schmidt Tenor OU7T not as disabled. I am not a professional player Uke, (playing guitar) but I can tell the difference. Maybe if I did not have the LU-21 Soprano Uke LanaK I will not be able to make a difference. However, I return it and get another Oscar Schmidt content. So much for trying the mango heated imagination. I'm giving 3 stars because it looks really beautiful, finely made and feels solid when you are handling. Indonesians are good craftsmen.
