The YTR-135 trumpet was discontinued in 1978 or '79. To my understanding this basic student model was replaced by the YTR-2335, but I am not sure if valve buttons for this horn will fit the YTR-135.
It might be better to check with a local music store that has a repair shop. While a trumpet professor might know, a trumpet repair tech is more likely to know.

I just bought a conn trumpet and when i press the valve buttons down it doesn't chang pitch any ideas
You change the pitch with your lip position. The instrument doesn't do it for you. Here is some basic trumpet information:

HeritageFest set for Saturday
MASON CITY — The fifth annual HeritageFest will be from noon to 9:30 p.m. Saturday across from Holy Family Catholic Church, 710 N. Adams Ave.
HeritageFest provides a variety of live music, as well as food and refreshments, celebrating the different cultures that make up the community.
Admission is free.
The day begins at noon with concessions and bingo. Kids’ games and face painting will be from noon to 4 p.m., and the Smiley Face Train will run from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Jim Busta Band from Spring Grove, Minn., performs from noon to 2 p.m. The five-member polka band plays concertina, button accordion, clarinet, tenor sax, trumpet, valve trombone, tuba, electric bass, drums, keyboard and vocals.
The Jazz Coalition Big Band, performing from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., includes some of North Iowa’s finest jazz musicians.
Mariachi de Colores of Waterloo will play from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The eight-piece ensemble performs in semi-formal mariachi outfits on traditional instruments.

A few months ago, I picked up an old Elkhart Instrument Company trumpet, but it's missing a third valve button and unfortunately, they seem to have felt INSIDE the button. Does anyone know if you can still pick up today some buttons with felt on the inside? I know it might screw up the valve alignment, but it's just something to honk around on.
