A soprano is a singer with the highest notes. It usually has a vocal range of about East (C4) to "high A" (A5) in choral music, or to "soprano C" (C6, two octaves above Middle C) or higher in music opera.

Soprano shines at Mostly Mozart opening: Festival pays homage to its namesake ...
The Mostly Mozart Festival often covers much ground more than its name implies.
But this season, namesake of the show is really the center of the program, including as a composer only opening concert on Tuesday evening at Avery Fisher Hall, along which the music director Louis Langrée gave his constant lively approach.
Starting with "The Marriage of Figaro" opening, the energy performance of musicians and presented Langrée eyes for details, even in a directory that does not lack entertainment.
In the Sinfonia Concertante, violinist Christian Tetzlaff and violist Antoine Tamestit (make a impressive debut at the Festival) were well suited as soloists. Since its rapid opening PERT, directed his brilliant and fiery Tetzlaff played well off of flights confident and velvet-toned but Tamestit is more controlled. Tetzlaff exaggerated some of its most spectacular, stylized gestures in a flash, so charming, although in some presentations of many virtuoso passages his tone became erratic.
Review: Apres un reve: Strauss, Faure, Britten, Chausson (soprano ...
In line with the title, a dreamlike air pervades this selection of French, German and English songs. Piau’s iridescent soprano, underpinned by the limpid, evocative playing of her regular recital partner Susan Manoff, is ideally suited to the magic (and often the melancholy) of this music. Her voice’s natural shimmer becomes a fully-fledged glow in the Richard Strauss selections which open the disc – Piau’s rendition of the oft-recorded Morgen! (Gallows Songs) of contemporary composer Vincent Bouchot are a delightful surprise, and Piau renders them in vivid, memorable colour. And while the Britten arrangements may seem a curious conclusion, their simplicity is a perfect fit, with Piau’s delivery just French enough to give these very English songs an extra dash of romance.

Music of the Spheres Windchimes, The Stradivarius of Windchimes
I had been wanting a nice windchime for ages. I live in Holland, so shipping would have been very expensive. I finally ordered this windchime and had it sent to family in the states and picked it up. It is exactly what I was wishing for and my neighbors and friends all want one now too. Soprano gypsy chime = heaven = order one for yourself. You will not be sorry.
