Friday, August 12 series of Velvet Lounge Rock City officially opens with Mike Whitehead and his friends. The music will be from 7 to 21 hours at Rock City Café, 318 Main Street
Featured musicians are Mike Whitehead on trumpet and flugelhorn, Xar Adelberg on bass, Tom Luther on piano and Jason Dean on drums. The combo will play a variety of jazz from the 1940s until today. These musicians have played jazz together for several years and will provide an evening of musical fun and dynamic.
