Easy choice for replacement
I needed to replace my old mouthpiece which had its cork compressed too tightly and no longer fit. This one replaced my "J & D Hite Premiere Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece." Don't bother with anything else, this mouthpiece is every bit as good as the premiere and is easier to play on than a Yamaha 4C,... -
great sound
This mouthpiece helps my daughter to play much better than the more expensive she had and broke. We were worried that since it didn't cost that much that it wouldn't be any good but we were pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this to anyone and would buy it again should she happend to drop...

Ok so I'm a high school player of the clarinet are looking to buy a wooden clarinet because I only have a plastic. I hate to go through the pages hoping to find a clarinet made of wood. So I ask you this Selmer clarinets .. That are made of wood?
For the above: Do not assume that a brand is better than the other! Honestly, I find that the case is just hype Buffet (as with all Apple products), simply because many people use Buffet does not mean it will work best for you *. *

I'm in possession of a Selmer Clarinet 1400 with a rico royal B5 mouthpiece and would like to know if anyone knows what the resale price is for such an item? It's in good condition but may not be working and is slightly dusty.

I have been playing clarinet for some years now and I think it's time to get a better instrument. I use a starter but I know that Selmer Clarinet Buffet Crampon are top quality. I watched the clarinets on the site but I do not know what instruments are those that are professional and student clarinets. I am looking for one that will last and is of a higher grade. Thank you
The R13 is by far the most popular clarinet buffet professional. The other (which are much more expensive) are the Prestige, Prestige R13, and Tosca.You should be looking at around $ 2500 + for a * new * clarinet; if used (which is sometimes the best), wait at least $ 1000 +. La Tosca is the most expensive out of all these factors.
For R13s, I highly recommend you go to the music store where there are a lot of clarinets and see which ones you want, since in my experience, R13s are not very consistent....
