The most important book a clarinetist could buy
I was an All-State clarinetist in high school and the majority of my college tuition was paid for by the music department for my clarinet skills. I thought I knew a lot about the instrument before reading this book. I was WRONG. Very WRONG.This book would have saved me so much aggravation and... -

No methods / strings, but the actual songs such as 100 solo clarinet. What is a good book with a lot of songs?
I am not sure of any good clarinet books, but as a trumpet player, there are a lot of trumpet books out that you can pick up from a music store. Since the clarinet and trumpet are in the same key, you can play one just like the other.

My band director wants me to play the contra alto clarinet in our wind ensemble. I know it's pitched in E flat but I played the bass clarinet, which is in B flat. So I would like to know if I could still read my bass clarinet music and not have to...
the fingerings will be the same. so you will not need to learn anything new. but you can't play an bflat part on an eflat instrument. you should know this by now if you are in a wind ensemble. it would be like a french horn (F) playing a trumpet part (Bflat). not a pretty thought.

Music review: Joana Carneiro conducts LA Phil at Hollywood Bowl
And now for something (almost) completely different. Thursday, Joana Carneiro, music director of the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra and a former assistant conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led the Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl in two major works written after 1945. The refresh program (which attracted a healthy mid-summer in the presence of 7501) featured the debut of Finnish clarinettist Kari Bowl Kriikku Magnus Lindberg Clarinet Concerto and the French soloist Paul Meyer in Copland's Clarinet Concerto.
It was a night for those who love the highs and lows of this outbreak guttural wonderfully flexible instrument.Lindberg Concerto, a brilliant blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, was written for Kriikku. He gave the first in 2002 in Helsinki and in America last year with the Philharmonic Orchestra of New York. The work, a single movement with five interrelated sections, lasts about half an hour. But the score is so hectic it feels like half that time. Throughout, Kriikku passagework negotiated numerous lightning-fast, and some in the audience laughed with pleasure at a particularly riveting solo where he produced what looked like bird songs from another planet .

Music Sheet For Clarinet
Www.Kalmus-music.
If you use IMSLP, remember that you do so at your own risk. Many parts that people have scanned and uploaded are cut off at the bottom or side. And as much as I appreciate good free music, as an orchestra librarian, I also appreciate it when people purchase music and keep the publishers in business, costs down, and allow people to keep their jobs.
Where can I buy or safely download Zelda Sheet Music for Clarinet?I've been looking Zelda Sheet Music for Clarinet for awhile. I can never find anything for the clarinet , it's usually always on piano or flute.
I don't want to download anything that is harmful to my computer, I was just looking into downloading the sheet music , but buying it is okay too. A URL to the site would be nice
