Great toy for the price
For the price, you can't beat it. The sound is pleasing, but obviously not that of a $100 ceramic instrument. No trouble with the finger holes. The kids and I had fun improvising and playing simple tunes. -
Love it!
This ocarina was cheap and it's made of plastic, but I love it because it manage to do the work I want: to play songs in an ocarina style. I'd recommend this one for everyone who wants to learn basic performing with an ocarina, and then, plan on acquiring an expensive one.

I just wanted to know if there is an NDS application or game like the smule (ocarina instrument) on iphone. It would be cool on the NDS as it also has a mic. like the iphone where you can blow. Please can anyone help?
I don't have an iphone but I highly doubt that there is an app like that. The ocarina just gained popularity with the release of Ocarina of Time in the nineties and besides fans, it's a pretty unheard of instrument. I hope I've helped

With continuous state education cuts and a property tax cap coming next year, the city’s Board of Education will likely look at all possible ways to reduce costs. That could affect music and arts programs as well as many other areas. Hoerbelt said that has made her “concerned with the direction things are going in.”
To make ends meet in this year’s budget, the board made several changes, including eliminating two music positions as part of a “realignment” of the strings program. That served as a “catalyst” to get this group going, Kolb and Hoerbelt said. Then board member Patrick Burk was quoted in a Daily News article listing several unmandated programs. Band, chorus, strings and art were on the list. The women became even more motivated to help increase “the amount of community support for music and arts.”
That support doesn’t just mean parents of students at the district. It also means grandparents, residents and — perhaps most importantly — voters. When the next budget rolls around, the women don’t want people to either ignore it or vote it down to make a point.
