I'm looking to try a piece for orchestra of my college next year and I would use my trumpet c. Anyone who preferred "traditional" orchestral pieces for trumpet c?
Well a lot of piece are written for Trumpet in C anyways, especially anything written before 1900.

When you play a C scale on your C trumpet, it's the same pitch of if you were playing it on a piano. If you play a C scale on a Bb trumpet, it will sound like a Bb scale on a piano. So, at first, it can be a little bit tricky, as the sound that you expect to go out of the trumpet

15-year-old phenom Jonathon Dompor Furer plays at Trumpets Jazz Club
For New Jersey based Furer Jonathon, he came a few years ago in seventh grade at a school talent show. The 15 years old classically trained singer, composer, pianist and saxophonist had taught piano to young students. He first played a classic Scott Joplin rag "The Entertainer" at the age of six years and was introduced to the music of Billy Joel and Elton John by family members. He knew he loved all kinds of music, but he was not sure of his abilities as a performer.Furer took the stage and for the next five minutes captivated the audience with a reading power of man Joel classical piano, even playing the harmonica fills brand while playing the keys. The crowd gave a rousing O-date and there has never been the same since.
"It was the largest of five minutes of my life," said Furer. "I was shocked, and it is difficult to describe what it is experience that makes it so incredible. It's not just the rush, but more about the deep connection with the public.It felt very liberating, like when I'm in the scene, that's where I'm most associated with music. I knew I wanted to spend my life doing that.

I am selling a large bore tunable bell Bach C trumpet. The horn is in silver plate and is in pretty good condition. The only fault is some minor plating wear on the valve cluster.
