Anything Jack's Big Music Show get's a 5 star rating in my book. My issue with this product is it is claiming to be "season 1" however when you receive the dvd it is only 4 episodes, 1 of which was just released in 2007. Episodes actually on the DVD are Ground Hog Day, Little Bad Wolf, Jack &... -

We also have all these shows from the first two seasons on our DVR and had emailed the company long ago when we were waiting for the second season. I can't believe they're finally releasing this show on DVD but they're only putting 4 episodes on one DVD. Why not the whole first season? I'd pay...

the best marching band instrument is the trombone. because it has a good pitch, its not the most common, but its not completely rare, like an oboe in a marching band. the worst is probably flute, because theyre barely heard, and they dont really play a big roll.

the best cure is to sight read at whatever level you can,....no marking fingerings anymore/force yourself to remember them, (even if that means getting a beginner book to read from).

The brass and wind instruments join in for a few measures until cued to stop by the band director.
For the Avon Park High School Grenadier Band it's summer camp week, where students work on their marching outside and focus on learning and improving the music inside.
Sebring and Lake Placid high schools have also been holding their annual summer band camps this week.
Next month it all comes together in a visual and musical performance at the school's football games.
But for now the focus is on learning and memorizing the written music and marching charts, and working together on the timing, tempo and all the nuances that go into a satisfying musical experience.
