Reliable case with good engineering
I have used this case only for about a month or so and long-term durability has not been tested yet. This is a rather heavy and bulky case. However users who would walk or bike a lot with this case may find many benefits of it, as well as those who feel bit insecure about using very light-weight...

I play the trombone from 5th grade (I am now entering senior year). I took the bass trombone in the eighth and stuck with it. I find that my upper register is pathetic and I'm constantly pinching each time a note such as F above the staff and...
Try playing a high B flat and hold it as long as necessary, then move to a high D (or a high C), hold it as long as necessary, then move to an F (or D). Just play notes on all the notes you can not play, then go half a step ect. Try not to smile when you play high notes.

I have played Tenor Trombone for over a year now, and I'm pretty good. Iove the sound of bass and I want to know how much harder it is to play.10 points!
Well overall it's not too much different just air capacity. I'm not sure though that after a year you'll have enough air to play it cause it takes alot of it. Also it took me much longer than a year to build up a good enough low range to play bass. If you play music written for

Jazzfest salutes Detroit's big band era
Jazzfest Big Band Era Detroit welcomes Susan Whitall / Detroit News Music Writer
Labor Day is not far, and the International Jazz Festival Detroit prepares for its annual four-day downtown Detroit on the weekend to Labour Day.
Unfortunately, pianist Dave Brubeck has canceled his appearance on September 5 "under advisement of his medical team," said Monday the organizers of the festival, because the 90-year-old who played for the Jazzfest last year, can not fly or travel over long distances by car."He seemed to be in the top of his game and in his 80s," festival director Terri Pontremoli said in a statement. "We have wonderful memories of joy, rhythmic play, and the reunion with his son on our stages. We will miss this year. "
The festival has announced its list of local musicians in Detroit, after some "difficult decisions" according to Pontremoli, due to limited performance slots and many entries.

Jillian Hunter opened the concert with a stunning performance of the first movement of Reinicke’s Flute Concerto in D, op. 283. Raymond Yiu followed this with a passionate delivery of Berg’s Piano Sonata Op.1.
Adam Crighton was next on bass trombone and entertained with a couple of movements from the Bach cello suites, a dazzling cadenza from Chris Brubeck’s Bass Trombone concerto, and finished with a polished rendition of the Allegro & Finale by Bozza.
Lucy Neil then gave us a lively performance of Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody Op 86, a classic of the cello repertoire, and our accompanist Richard Bailey concluded the concert with Jardin sous la pluie by Debussy, which was a rather a nice touch. It was great to be able to showcase the top end of our festival participants in this way.

Review of the Bonnie Raitt CD Fundamental
Super talented Rock artist Bonnie Raitt has released her latest CD on the Capitol / EMI Records recording label, entitled Fundamental.
Bonnie Raitt has been a super star in the Rock genre for quite some time now and Fundamental is an excellent illustration as to why.
Bonnie Raitt possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with her talent alone. The kind of artist I really enjoy listening to.
Listen to this CD and I believe you’ll find there’s not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Bonnie Raitt is clearly in top form. So much so that if you’re even mildly into Rock music you’ll enjoy this album.
While the entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 – Cure For Love, track 6 – Blue For No Reason, and track 11 – One Belief Away
