i use neck strap for band because our school's bass clarinet doesn't even have a place for a peg, but when I use mine, I always use the peg.
I only strap the alto. I peg the bass, contra-alto, and contra-bass.
The reason is that pegging the instrument keeps it in the proper playing position better than strapping it.

I'm having trouble thinking. The only thing that it comes with is the case and the bass clarinet. I know the ligature, and neck strap but what about cleaning stuff? does anyone know a good site for that stuff also?

Architecture In Helsinki has put out one of the best albums of 2011 in what has already been a banner year. Their LP ‘Moment Bends’ combines some of the naffest sounds of the 1980s (think Stock, Aitken & Waterman, or Mr Mister, or Mike & The Mechanics, or Hot Chocolate’s ‘It Started With A Kiss’) with hip turns typical of the likes of Brian Eno and Robert Fripp (listen to that burbling guitar!).
It is, for all that, an incredibly modern sounding album. Perhaps it’s because the 1980s revival proper is pretty much over, and acts like Architecture are one of those acts that are (finally!) turning those sounds into something new.
