Making trumpets for almost 100 years, Bach horns are some of the most versatile trumpet made. This Strad can make any style of music from Classical, to jazz, to commercial music. Serial number 457802 dates this trumpet to the late 90′s. This trumpet has been cleaned, oiled and greased, and all felts and corks have been replaced by our in-house brass technician. Being a true players horn, it has some minor dings, minor solder work, and very light lacquer wear. The silver plated finish is almost perfect condition. The ease in playability clear tone that comes out of this horn is what you would expect from a strad and more. Notes above the staff ring clear and slot just as nice. Selling my vintage Bach Stradivarius model 37 silver plate trumpet. This is an excellent instrument. It is in great shape for its age, however it does have a couple minor dents and scratches from being used. It was dropped at one point and the bell was creased, but it was repaired by a professional music store and looks very good. The trumpet has the gold trim kit and puma abalone finger buttons. I will also include the original silver trim, a Bach corp. 3C mouthpiece and a Schilke 13a4a mouthpiece, and a K&M 5 legged trumpet stand. The instrument was recently used by a music major while in college and is being sold because I need to begin paying my school loans back. I have another trumpet and do not need this one anymore. It is in very good shape and will be a good horn for an advancing student. I have the original case for it if the buyer wants it (but shipping will cost more.) but I carry the horn in a new Bach Stradivarius case. The trumpet also has a leather Bach valveguard. All valves and slides work with proper lubrication. I will miss the horn but hopefully someone will use it and enjoy it more than I have.
