Stronger mute than rubber variety

When my wife and I moved into a small house on the ability to practice the violin became severally hampered. It can be fond of the instrument, however, the same song played four hundred times over and over again can get on your nerves just about anyones. Things were bad enough that we were serious about buying an electric violin for practice just so she would not have to listen to everything I played. I had heard about the cutting in the past but never considered a viable option, they seemed to be impossible to cut without a violin without interfering too much interfere with the tone.I was proved wrong and it works great Little Gym reducing vibrations of the bridge and make it enough that now I have to be in the next room, not the house next door .
