Outstanding instrumental rock
I challenge anyone to release a more accessible instrumental rock album than Joe Satriani's "Surfing With the Alien." I don't play guitar myself, but that is hardly an impediment to enjoying his music...and that's probably the best thing about Joe -- you don't need to be a musician... -
Excellent Album, Great Guitar Artistry, Great Teaching Tool, Essential...
This album showcases a brilliant musician at the height of his powers and is probably his best album; at the very least, it's my favourite work of his as it manages to show the versatility and technical proficiency of Joe in 10 fabulous tracks. From the speedy pyrotechnics of the first track...

Festival Review: CoS at Quebec City Summer Fest 2011
With its cobblestone streets, outdoor cafes and street artisans, Quebec City, Canada has long been known as "The Paris of North America." In 2011, Elton John, Ben Harper, Simple Plan and The Black Keys are a few of the stars of Quebec has hosted, along with home grown, in French singers such as Jean-Pierre Ferland Marie-MayI just parachuted in for the last two days of this festival is quickly becoming known, especially to see a legendary band who performed in Quebec, even more than the general war on the battlefield they played sacred and that honor goes to Metallica. Some 100,000 metallers came down on the Plains of Abraham, the scene of the famous battle in 1759 between France and Britain, where it took control of the precious "New France" colony that would eventually be renamed Canada a few more than a century later.

LoNero Releases Its Latest 'Guitarcore' Album To ITunes
The second CD ” Relentless ” was the initial manuscript that LoNero did as a band, and was the initial time you approached it with the thought of Guitarcore in mind. We went in with a coherent thought of what you longed for the manuscript to sound similar to and you had rehearsed and achieved the songs live for about 6 months before you proposed the recording process. Once you got in the college of music it was flattering easy for us to lay down tracks.
With the new manuscript ” J.F.L. ” you satisfied that you could be more prolific if you had our own recording studio. So you leased out a storage area and converted it in to our own rehearsal/recording studio. It’s essentially a one-stop-shop for us to be as imaginative as you wish without any outward interruptions or without having to watch a clock.
J: Do you feel you’ve stretched the music with this album?
