  1. Best Bang for the Buck...Full Spectrum Mic for Under 500.00!!!!
I've experimented at my home studio with many mics in this price range... and I've worked in very high end rooms where we had Neuman's and old Sony's. It doesn't matter, if you don't have basic mic techniques down, you can make a 7ooo.oo "moded" Telefunkin sound like the condenser in your old...
  2. The Best Condenser Microphone For Under $500
I never write reviews. Especially positive ones. I tend to think that people who write reviews tend to be upset, and thus, there are more negative reviewers than positive ones. I hope I'm wrong about that. I decided to write a review of this microphone as someone had the gall to give it 1 star....

Electric Guitar starter kit?

I've been looking around for some cheap electric guitar starter kits and I came across this one

Ibanez is a good brand, but from personal experience you may want to go to an actual music store and test some out. Ask a sales person to help you set up or to show you around. It may have great review and be a great deal, but you also want to make sure that you are comfortable

Electric Guitar Frustration?

I have had a electric guitar for about a year, and play off and on. A year this month, actually.

I keep playing the same chords again and again, and the same few...

I don't know what kind of guitar you have but it sounds to me that it needs a good setting up ..
bring it to a guitar shop and have them help you
Then it must be better to play and more fun ......good luck.

The Festy Experience 2011 | Review | Photos

The Festy Experience stormed through its second year (thankfully not literally) in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Charlottesville's The Infamous Stringdusters put on the whole event on the grounds of the Devil's Backbone Brewery. The David Grisman Sextet and Toubab Krewe were among the headliners for this wickedly successful festival. From the beauty of the surrounding foothills to the interesting cuisine (crab cakes, Étouffée, jambalaya, empañadas, vegan options and more!), everything was just spot-on. And did I mention accommodations? I've never seen such clean porta-potties in my life.

The acts were split up between the Main Stage, the Southern Stage, and then the High Country Base Camp and Workshop Stage, where folks could learn a bit of everything from shape-note singing (led by Stringduster Glen Garrett ) to backcountry cookin'.

Articles on Start Playing the Guitar with an Electric Guitar Kit ...

Even while the physique was sanded and sealed in the factory I discovered on my kit it was not a amazing task so I selected to re-sand the physique setting up with a class paper and relocating on to a good moist & dry paper to actually get a sleek specialist glance. I pick a navy blue colour to finish my guitar and I made use of an aerosol spray paint that I brought from my native car spares retailer. It took Four coats until finally I was happy with it, and then I gave it a further two coats of crystal clear to give it a shine and safeguard the paint. I stored the headstock all-natural so just sprayed it with the crystal clear to defend the wooden. I could then attach the neck and system jointly which was simply just a metal plate and four screws. The largest stress for me when I assumed about building an electric guitar kit was the electrics. I was not confident about wiring the pickups, switches and knobs, so guess what, I didn't....
