Despite an overwhelming petroleum smell coming out of the box, this is a high-quality gig bag with plenty of storage space. Fits either a Tele or Strat. Great bag!
The padding in this bag is sufficient. I added protection to my guitar because I will be taking it on a plane with me. I would prefer a hard case, but just wanted something at a reasonable price to transport the guitar. I will most likely not be transporting it in the future, so this is good...

Native songwriter 'lives by music'
In 2011, while he may not be a household name, Kimbrough lives by music, packing a gig bag and traveling from Emmylou Harris to studio work to his band to solo gigs, such as Saturday's performance at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts.
“I love the music, and I'm loving doing it,” he said, shortly after coming off the road with Harris. “It's the only thing I do to make a living.”
Many who come to see him play Saturday will be friends who knew the Mobile native from '80s college days. Such a staple were The Bushmen that clubs with a marquee shortage would simply light up “Will,” and crowds would line up. The Bushmen wouldn't have been the same without the songs and sounds of Sam Baylor, the other guitarist-singer-songwriter, and madman bassist Mark Pfaff, but Kimbrough, the main writer, singer and lead guitarist, had his name out front for a reason.
The Bushmen soared through good years in the '80s, but suffered from wavering luck: MTV videos, but only in the early mornings; a major-label contract, but on the same roster with Vanilla Ice and Wilson Phillips; some TV exposure on shows such as “China Beach,” but getting their biggest documentary footage bumped from potential prime time into an early Sunday morning slot.
