'Traditional Gospel Hymns" is a really beautiful collection of old-time hymns with lovely harmonies. It is the perfect music for relaxing with a cold drink on a hot summer's evening. Instant serenity! Thank you Amazon!

Try Andre Crouch, Traimaine Hawkins Hawkins and family and former Clark Sisters Winans and old, they have good messages and you can tell the difference that the gospel and not the street music.

Grammy nominated gospel singer's band will back up Divine Voices competitors
A visit singer Grammy nominated gospel is so excited about an upcoming contest local gospel singing talent, he has agreed to provide his own band and backup singers.
The divine voice singing contest will be held this Sunday at City Hall to find the gospel singer Bermuda high. The winner gets to perform at the Gospel Festival in 2011 to the arsenal in August.
"I was so excited to hear about the Music Competition of the divine, we are working to support all local singers," VaShawn Mitchell, 34, said in a telephone interview with The Royal Gazette. "My group and singers will play for the competition Divine Voices, Friday will be a great, great experience. And I can not wait to see who will win.
Old-time gospel music albums and more | Auction Finds
When I often encountered a stack of albums at auction, I get around them. That's what I did with six boxes on a table in front of the auction house. They are too heavy to carry and too difficult to handle.
There are never more than one or two boxes in my best interest, and there is always demand for them more bidders and bid too high. At an auction this week, a box of albums (there are usually from 25 to 50 albums per box) went for $ 160.
On the table behind the albums were 12 related books, including two copies of Dorothy West "The Wedding", "Goodbye Uncle Tom" by JC Furnas, "black politics in Philadelphia" and "fiction African American literature. " An absentee bidder had already left an offer on them. There was also a 1966 program for the memories of Philadelphia Annual Conference African Methodist Episcopal, with a book on the history of the AME Church....
