Finally, Great tempo and speed
This CD has great music and tempo. The speed of the words are very close to what the music should sound like. Some are too slow and the words don't match the music but we thought this one was good. Worth the money if you check the songs by clicking on the video picture of the product. -

Review: Church a little to macho on new CD
(07-25) 11:21 PDT, (AP) -
Eric Church, "head" (EMI Records Nashville)
Most country music tough guy growl balance their lighter moments. But rising country music star Eric Church Swaggers and frowns from his third album, "head", without relaxation of the arched bare attitude with the air of novelty or love ballads.
There is no humor Toby Keith, Trace Adkins sensitive ballads "or Jamey Johnson probing self-examination. More than ever, the songs revolve around the church drinking ("Jack Daniels", "drink in My Hand") and fighting ("Keep On").But the macho attitude constantly exhausted more than 11 songs, even with detours into songs mesh musical idols ("Springsteen") and lamenting the state of the obsolete type of music selected ("Country Music Jesus") .
As-in-the hold-producer Jay Joyce Church, which brings unusual rhythms and new arrangements for songs influenced rock. When "head" function, like the opening "Creepin '" and the first hit album "Homeboy - a moralist at a church conference brother_ temperamental singers joined Jamey Johnson and Jason Aldean showing how country music can move in future with the substance and integrity. But too many "head" of the forces of aggression, such as rogue curl at the end of the bar that never smiles or offers of a tender word.
Chicken Soup for the Soul- Country Music Giveaway
I just finished writing an article on chicken soup "in the life of my cat" for the Soul book. It was painful because I hate cats and if you read the introduction for the little gift, it is perfectly clear. But this book, this book is different. Country Music has a place in my heart as one of the first conversations that my husband and I were working at McDonalds in high school revolved around the words of John Michael Montgomery Be My Baby Tonight song. Could there would have not Ya Gonna if I asked you. Would you want to be my baby tonight. If you listened to any amount of country music - you know his full life with real people, struggles, breakthroughs, and sadness. Sometimes his pleasure, not so much, but anyway it is something that the heart can not understand.
So I think this book is remarkable. Discover the triumphs behind "Bobby Ann Mason", the passion behind "Gone Country" and the struggles of the "All-American Boy." And of course, learn more about the "Mississippi squirrel revival."...
Country Music Songs about the Working Man (1/2) I Never Picked ...
Country Music Songs about the Working Man (1/2) For decades, country music has given voice to the working men and women who have kept the wheels turning in the farms, mines, factories, job sites, roads, stores, schools, homes, hospitals and offices of America. The folk music of the Scottish and Irish immigrants of Appalachia, the blues and hollers from African American slaves in the South, the Spanish influence on the southwest border and the Acadian, Cajun and Caribbean music of Louisiana have all blended to create an irresistible gumbo of tune, rhythm and verse. Here are some of the songs that continue to resonate deeply with the American worker. 1924) “Casey Jones:” The Skillet Lickers. One of the very first Appalachian string bands to put music to record, The Skillet Lickers registered the first of many versions of this folk ballad about the engineer who never ran behind schedule. A true story, Casey Jones’s...
