You can use an adapter, but the best way is to splice the wire and solder it to a female endpin jack. Or you can use something similar to the device below.

Rocksmith Guitar Game for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC
I have played guitar for six years now and in that time I have primarily played lead guitar so my knowledge of chords was limited. After playing this game for a few hours I already feel more comfortable with the chords I knew and the several I have learned. The interface when playing a song is very well designed and isn't confusing once you become accustomed to the different technique symbols. There are very little negative aspects of the game. Someone mentioned the slow load time, I didn't find the load time to be that slow and I don't care anyways because they give you a guitar tone while it's loading so I play bits and pieces of songs and riffs during the load time. All in all I say that it's a great game and I'm definitely looking forward to the dozens of sequels that should inevitably follow. I've only played this on the PS3, as that's the only console I have....
