Fender Mini Acoustic Guitar Stand
I know nothing about guitar accessories. I wanted to get a friend of mine something for his birthday and he plays guitar. I found out that Fender is an excellent brand and I bought the stand for him when I realised that his guitar is normally in a corner in the house. He loves the stand. It is... -
Great Stand
Great stand for holding my Classical Guitar. Small but steady footprint. Solid construction, soft pads and folds easily away.

i dont know which; a new one, or a vintage one [ in good condition]
You must be good. You know the top acoustic guitar line, Martin, although Ovations are a close contender. Martins are legendary. The vintage is broken in and the extra age of the wood may give it a slightly better sound. Only an experienced player with good ears would notice
We review the Martin 000-15 as part of a mid-size guitar review in which we tested six medium-size guitars ranging from $250 to $5000. For the ...

This is a long way off, but I plan on asking for a Martin as a college graduation gift. There are so many Martins out there and I haven't played as many as I'd like. What do you guys think the best Martin acoustic is? Not acoustic-electric. Just...

Losing weight pays off for Bicolano ex-policeman
Larry Martin, 36-year old former police officer from Milaor, Camarines Sur, lost 101 lbs. to beat Art Mendoza, an enterprising balikbayan, to become the first Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition.
Larry looked far from the first time we saw him at the beginning of the reality show featuring the heaviest contestants.
He beat the four others that were known as the Fab Five after months of elimination. Apart from Art, they were Angela, Hazel, and Raffy.
When Art weighed in and registered a 37.83 percent or 129 lbs. lost with a weight of 212 lbs from his original 341 lbs,. I thought the Bicolano man would be hard pressed to beat it. But he did, and the man was emotional. And why not? After all, he won not only the record of being the first Biggest Loser in the Philippines, but also P1 million and a new condominium unit.
Outstanding 1951 Martin 000-28 ... - Mandolin Cafe Classifieds
Up for sale is a 1951 000-28 Martin. This guitar is in great condition. The top appears to be crack-free. No cracks at all in the sides. The back has two very fine lines in the finish that might be cracks but they are so fine that it is very hard to tell. Nice flat top, no bulging or bellying. I believe that the finish is original and shows nice checking. The nut looks original. The bridge has been replaced at some point along with the saddle. It has had a neck set at some point and the action and set-up is great and ready to go. It is just a tad over 3/32 at the twelfth. Frets show a little wear but not much.
Overall, this is a great guitar and sounds wonderful. If you have been wanting a vintage 000-28, this 60 year old beauty would be a great choice. A hard to find guitar in this condition. Comparable guitars I have found are priced from 10.5K to 12.5K and this one has great provenance as well....
